Our core competency

Area Four Industries is primarily focused on craftsmanship, designing, and manufacturing. Sales always come second. Mastery of the craft and manufacturing, simply put, "how to do it well and with quality", is what we delve into in detail and depth day after day, year after year.

We believe that the ability to persist until things are completed is historically ingrained in us. It's also because of where we come from. We are Czechs from the heart of Europe.

We pass on this accumulated knowledge. Into our productions, workshops, and companies worldwide. Not quickly and easily, but slowly and often painfully.

We simply work with people daily, teaching them how to make it work. Day after day, over and over, better, better & better.

Innovation

The word innovation today is something like a magic spell. Those who use it are often "IN." And those who don't use it enough appear suspicious.
In passionate debates about innovation, it's almost a rule that the conversation shifts to products. That is certainly correct, but it is equally certainly very incomplete.
Let us give you an example: Our focus is the TRUSS itself. We didn't invent the structure, yet we are innovators. The structure was invented thousands of years ago. But we have invented modern methods of production, connection, and processes to do it efficiently and without errors. We thought about it and implemented it. And it is the same as always and with everything at Area Four Industries. Without arrogance, without shouting, with our feet on the ground.

History of Area Four Industries

The seeds of Area Four Industries were planted in 1994 when Milos Structural Systems was founded in the Czech Republic. It quickly grew into one of the largest truss manufacturers in Europe, and then further extended its reach with the establishment of Milos U.K. and Milos America. In 2007, a new Milos manufacturing plant was opened in Guangzhou, China, followed by the opening of Milos Concepts GmbH in 2010.

Area Four Industries was created in 2012 when the engineering design expertise, experience, knowledge, and manufacturing capabilities of its three brands - Milos Structural Systems, Litec and TOMCAT - were combined and solidified. James Thomas Engineering joined the board in 2014 and Prolyte joined the board in 2019.

The union of these brands led to an improved and redefined structure that has allowed Area Four Industries to give its customers access to the worlds largest offer of truss, support structures, peripheral products and related services.

Area Four Industries is currently in the process of extending its network of exclusive offices called Area Four Industries Direct. In 2015, a new office was opened in the United Kingdom. At the start of 2016, a new office was opened in Germany, in 2017 in USA followed by 3 new offices in 2020 in Czech Republic, Italy and Middle East (Dubai).

The latest addition is the opening of a new sales office in Singapore (2024), which serves the eastern part of the Asian market
